The NeoGenomics Molecular Tumor Board: Breast Cancer Series
NeoGenomics is proud to offer our Molecular Tumor Boards covering relevant topics in cancer care. In October, in conjunction with breast cancer awareness month, we will be offering three sessions focused on breast cancer cases.

Each session, multidisciplinary teams will submit and discuss 4 to 6 patients with expert oncologists. This virtual Molecular Tumor Board is a video-editorial board discussion powered by OncoLens, a HIPAA compliant platform where all of the necessary information is available for rapid review and discussion.

We will also be hosting a series of Liquid Biopsy Tumor Boards throughout October. To register for that series, visit the registration page here: (copy & paste link into browser): https://start.oncolens.com/NeoGenomics-Lung-Cancer-Webinar-Registration

Razelle Kurzrock, M.D.
Director of the Center for Personalized Cancer Therapy @UC San Diego Health
Dr Kurzrock is a board-certified medical oncologist and a renowned expert in precision medicine, which uses molecular tumor testing to match each patient with the best possible treatment. She also has a special interest in rare tumors. Before joining UCSD in 2012, Dr. Kurzrock developed one of the largest Phase 1 clinical trials programs in the world while at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. A central theme of that program was the personalized medicine strategy, which matched patients with targeted cancer treatments that optimized chances for response. She is a frequent speaker at national and international meetings, and her research has been widely published, with more than 500 articles in peer-reviewed publications. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology
Hatim Husain, MD
Associate Professor of Medicine @UC San Diego Health
Dr Husain is a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in treating lung cancer and brain tumors. In addition to instructing medical students, residents and fellows, he is also a physician-scientist dedicated to understanding the cancer genome and how to advance meaningful, precision-oriented therapies for patients. Dr. Husain has developed a translational research focus and collaborates with scientists to bring discoveries from bench-to-bedside. His efforts include expanding tools for tracking cancer growth specifically through circulating tumor DNA analyses; understanding the mechanisms of cancer formation in non-smoking patients; and investigating how the genome can provide clues to optimal treatments and new therapies. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a residency in internal medicine at Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Husain earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
